What I really enjoy about the Quran journal is that it encourages me to open the Quran and not just read one ayat and call it a day. However, I end up reading a few ayats before and after the assigned ayat to get an idea of what is going in the chapter and why it was revealed to the Prophet PBUH. I read somewhere that you can’t just study one ayat in the Quran to capture its meaning, you have to study the surrounding ayats to get an understanding. That’s what I enjoy about this journal, I am encouraged to open the Quran, I am encouraged to read a few verses from it as well and I can reflect on it. It’s also useful to go back and reread the little Duas I wrote for any day that I may need inspiration. It’s also really cute!
