He is there
Sometimes, just to feel close to Allah again, we need to think back to the time we desperately made dua for something we currently hold. Think back to the times when you asked over and over again.
Think back to the time when you took the time to ask. The time when you felt utterly hopeless and hopeful at the same time. The time when you thought you were making your very last effort.
As I drove to work one morning, these moments played through my thoughts. And this experience of putting yourself through the past roller coaster is so humbling. How empty you felt then and how you no longer feel its pain. He is there. Alhamdulillah.
He listens. He hears. He watches. He is there. If only we can take a few moments to settle, to pause, to push ourselves a little more, to breath, to quiet, to open, to reflect.
He is there. Alhamdulillah. Take a moment to break free of all the layers that clouds you from His presence. He is there. You just need a few more moments.
